Basics of Behavior Workshop Series (22-23) Day 1

The Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT®) is a paraprofessional certification in behavior analysis. Applied Behavior Analysis is an evidence-based approach to teaching students with autism and changing behavior. Participants in this series of workshops will be able to attend multiple phases of a professional development series covering all aspects of the RBT® Task List, such as reinforcement, token economies, and ethics. Participants who complete the program will be eligible to earn the RBT® credential. The professional development series will involve face-to-face, virtual, and self-paced content. Participants who complete all 40 hours of the series will be provided a completion certificate. Region 7 will not provide the formal competency assessment and supervision required to maintain the RBT® credential. For more information on RBT certification, please visit https://www.bacb.com/rbt/.
Participants who register for Day 1 will automatically be registered for the remaining 3 days. Participants will be responsible for registering for additional RBT training when they become available.
This workshop series will be held at Central ISD - registration is open to all Region 7 districts.
