PLC District and Campus Collaborative: Working as a Professional Learning Community Days 3-4

The Region 7 PLC Collaborative will allow district and campus teams to work with a cohort of other schools while learning and applying practices consistent with working as a professional learning community. Participants will be provided hands-on coaching from leaders experienced in implementing PLC practices proven to increase student achievement. Teams will 1) Develop an understanding of the work of a professional learning community and the specific strategies districts and campuses use to increase student achievement dramatically. 2) Learn and work together while creating an action plan for their school. 3) Have opportunities for cross-collaboration between districts and campuses. Each member of your team of participants should register. Example teams include members such as Asst. Superintendent, Principal, Asst. Principal, lead teachers, and support teachers. We suggest teams of 6 to 8 individuals. Upon registering for Days 1-2, you will be automatically registered for Days 3-4 and 5. Participants are required to attend all five days to receive credit.
