Making Math Learning Visible in 2nd and 3rd Grades

Complete Attendance

Participants will learn and utilize strategies that make learning visible to increase teacher and student awareness of the mastery of concepts in mathematics. These strategies will aid in the movement toward a student-centered classroom and increase student ownership of learning. Participants will see the value of the visible learning strategies to meet the rigor of the new STAAR redesign item types. Each participant will receive the book, "Visible Learning for Mathematics, Grades K-12: What Works Best to Optimize Student Learning (Corwin Mathematics Series)" This session is specifically for Kilgore ISD.
