Empowering Emergent Bilingual Families Through Literacy
Literacy begins with parents and families as the “first teacher.” Because literacy is social and cultural in nature, parents and family members are essential stakeholders in their child's literacy development. Join us as we explore ways to empower families as partners in their child's education. You will come away with ideas, activities, and resources to develop and support family literacy in your classroom, campus, and district.
