Writing Across the Content Areas with TEKS RS - Tyler ISD (Elementary)

Writing is one of the best ways for students to synthesize and retain learning. With recent changes to the Texas STAAR test, this best practice is on the forefront of educators’ minds. This session will examine the expectations for writing in all content areas, examine ways to set students on the path to success on these new item types (SCR and ECR) and then show you ready made resources within TEKS RS that can support teachers and students in the classroom.
