Workshop Registration Details

All Local Education Agencies (LEAs) in the state will participate in a cyclical review of their special education program every six years, including a dyslexia program review. Cyclical reviews are intended to provide a comprehensive analysis of the LEA’s special education program, including a review of the LEA’s special education policies and practices. The purpose of the dyslexia monitoring process is to ensure LEA compliance with federal and state dyslexia requirements through a review of LEA procedures and artifacts of implementation. The goal of this session is to provide an opportunity for collaboration across Region VII regarding activities, tools, and tips to prepare for cyclical monitoring. If your LEA is scheduled for a cyclical review in the 23-24 or 24-25 school year, please join us. Anyone is welcome to attend, even if your LEA has completed their cyclical review. Attendees will be able to participate in this webinar in their district via the Zoom link provided in the registration confirmation email.
There will be no TSHA credit given for this workshop.
