CACFP Meal Pattern for All Ages/Meal Pattern-Whole Grain Rich
This course will review the CACFP-Program Meal Patterns. As well as provide an overview of Offer vs. Serve and Meal Services and how these apply in the CACFP program.
In Part 1, the learner will learn how to determine what a creditable grain is, what whole grain-rich means, and how to apply grain ounce equivalents. In Part 2, the focus shifts to using ounce equivalents with the USDA measuring tool and on nutritional facts labels.
