Join us as we explore how to lead learners in scientific thinking and doing real science. Be prepared to have fun as we practice investigating the world around us! With the implementation of the new Science TEKS it is more important than ever for teachers to be experts in thinking like scientists and engineers so they can teach their students. What about science and engineering are the same and what is different? What does doing science and engineering look like in the classroom? These questions are the basis of exploring skills, concepts, and perspectives in this hands-on workshop. This workshop satisfies the state requirement for the annual G/T 6-hour update.
