CACFP LIVE: Planning Nutritious Meals and Snacks
Participants will learn basic requirements using tools and resources to plan CACFP-reimbursable meals for childcare facilities. Participants will receive hands-on
experience developing menus that meet USDA meal pattern requirements and recommendations. These skills will help participants develop economical, nutritious, and delicious meals and snacks.
Participants will have learned how to incorporate menu planning principles when creating nutritious and appealing menus for CACFP meals and snacks.
