CACFP LIVE: Planning Nutritious Meals and Snacks

Participants will learn basic requirements using tools and resources to plan CACFP-reimbursable meals for childcare facilities. Participants will receive hands-on experience developing menus that meet USDA meal pattern requirements and recommendations. These skills will help participants develop economical, nutritious, and delicious meals and snacks. Outcome: Participants will have learned how to incorporate menu planning principles when creating nutritious and appealing menus for CACFP meals and snacks.
