Mastering the ARD: Leading Difficult Meetings with Confidence and Collaboration 23-24

In this session, participants will gain essential skills and strategies for effectively leading challenging Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings. We will explore techniques for fostering collaboration among diverse stakeholders, managing conflicts, and ensuring that the individual needs of students with disabilities are met within the framework of special education regulations. Participants will learn how to create a respectful and inclusive environment, navigate complex discussions, and facilitate productive decision-making processes. This session will equip educators, administrators, and special education professionals with the tools and confidence to lead difficult ARD meetings resulting in meaningful and equitable outcomes for students with disabilities.
