Head Start Fall Teaching Assistant Training

This session is for Head Start Teaching Assistants. Children of all abilities are welcome in your classroom, and you work hard to facilitate learning in a way that meets the needs of every child. More and more children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) are joining our Head Start classroom families. Come learn about ASD and explore strategies that support the behavioral, social, and communication of young children with autism spectrum disorder. We will also focus on making center time beneficial and strengthening communication between the teacher and Teaching Assistant in a Head Start classroom.
