Shakespeare in East Texas

Do you know that East Texas has one of the best resources for incorporating Shakespeare into schools? Come take a backstage look at what The Texas Shakespeare Festival at Kilgore College has to offer and ways to bring the Roadshow to you! On top of that, you will have the opportunity to learn how the TSF can be a resource for you when it comes to props and costumes! Matthew Simpson, Associate Artistic Director for the Texas Shakespeare Festival at Kilgore College, will also be on hand to discuss Shakespearan Verse. Join us as we collaborate, problem-solve, discuss new approaches and favorite units as well and build capacity in the collective fine arts community. New this year: this workshop will be an ALL-day where you will go in-depth with multiple presenters! Don't Miss Out! This workshop will be held at Kilgore College, home of the Texas Shakespeare Festival.
