G/T: Robotics Competition Teacher Meeting

This meeting will focus on presenting information regarding the upcoming robotics competition designed for gifted/talented students. Participants will receive detailed competition guidelines, including specifications and dates, followed by a Q&A period for further clarification.

Teachers who are responsible for G/T robotics in their district will gain an understanding of robotics applications in the classroom as well as preview upcoming specifications for the current robotics competition.

In the afternoon, teachers will have the opportunity to pick up the robotics competition supplies, explore the past Region 7 robotics competition mats, and spend time programming robots with support from the Region 7 ESC robotics team members. Participants will also connect and collaborate with other robotics coaches from other Region 7 districts.

Please note: CPE credits, either 3 or 6 hours, will be awarded depending on how long the participant attends.
