Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans 24-25

Understanding the purpose of challenging behavior is critical for developing effective intervention strategies. In this workshop, participants will learn evidence-based practices for conducting quality Functional Behavior Assessments and developing effective Behavior Intervention Plans. We will also discuss strategies for implementation, data collection, progress monitoring, and fading. This workshop will include legal requirements for FBAs and BIPs and TEA guidance for these topics. Participants are highly recommended to attend Behavior 101 as a pre-requisite for this workshop or be knowledgeable about foundational behavioral principles such as ABCs, reinforcement, extinction, etc.
