Transitioning Students from a Self-Contained to a General Education Classroom 24-25

This course is focused on the process of transitioning students with complex access needs into the general education classroom. We will walk through a training developed by Texas SPED Support in collaboration with the Texas Education Agency and discuss how the content can directly impact students in our region.
The learning objectives for this training are:
• Provide examples of how to address inclusion concerns with inquiry
• Identify steps the team can take to transition a student from a self-contained classroom to a general education classroom
