G/T: 6-Hour Update: Thinking Like a Scientist (K-5)

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

Join us as we explore how to lead learners in scientific thinking and doing real science. Be prepared to have a lot of fun as we practice investigating the world around us! It is more important than ever for teachers to be experts in thinking like scientists and engineers to teach their students to understand science. What is science? What does it mean to be an engineer? What does doing science look like in the classroom? These questions are the basis of exploring skills, concepts, and perspectives in this hands-on workshop. This workshop satisfies the state requirement for the annual G/T 6-hour update.
