Above and Beyond Compliance Monitoring Desk Review Rubric 23-24

This workshop will train participants on conducting an Individualized Education Program (IEP) folder review using the Above and Beyond Compliance (ABC) of IEP Reviews Monitoring Desk Review Checklist. Using examples and scenarios addressed in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) paperwork, each section of the checklist will be analyzed with an opportunity for group discussion and questions on individual items. This training will assist Local Education Agencies (LEAs) identify best practices, prepare for a comprehensive TEA desk review, and/or develop a systemic process to create and maintain compliant IEP folders.
