Take a deep dive into the principles of COVA: Choice, Ownership, Voice, and Authentic learning experiences. The COVA framework shifts the focus from teaching to learning by empowering students to have a greater role in shaping their education. In this workshop, we will explore strategies for incorporating COVA into curriculum planning, assessments, and daily instruction, engage in activities modeling COVA in action, and develop plans and next steps for implementing COVA in their own classrooms and schools. COVA is the perfect learning approach to increase student engagement and promote learner agency.
