G/T Online Day 4: Models of Differentiated Instruction for Gifted Learners

G/T 5 Day Basics / 30 Hour Training (Day 4 of 5) Grades K–12: In this online course, participants will learn about traditional as well as new methods of differentiating content, process, and product for gifted students. Ways to utilize pre-assessment strategies and inventories to design appropriately challenging curriculum for gifted students will be covered. Participants will create rubrics and product criteria cards to implement immediately with their students as they develop advanced-level, innovative products. The laws outlined in the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented Students will be reviewed. All work must be completed by the course end date to receive a certificate. This online course is offered at no charge to members of the G/T Coop, G/T Professional Development Package, and TPCP. G/T Day 4 will not satisfy the state requirement for the annual gifted/talented 6-hour update. For questions about registration, please contact the registrar for this workshop at 903-988-6784.
