STAAR Updates with TEKS RS - Extended Constructed Response 301

It has been two years since ECR was added to the STAAR assessment. In that time we have all learned, grown, and risked much to meet this challenge. Now that we have a system down and a better understanding of this task, it is time to focus on refining the ECR so that it is not formulaic, but rather leverages the skills of good authors so that we can grow great writers in our clasrroms. This session will focus on any relevant updates regarding ECR, the use of the author's craft within writing, and how to guide authentic revision and editing in drafts. Educators will leave this session will skills and tools to immediately take back to refine Extended Constructed Responses in their classrooms.
