Progression of Math Manipulatives and Models in the Kindergarten and First Grades

There are various math manipulatives and models that are used in these foundational grades. Participants will engage with many models including ten-frames, part-part-whole mats, and hundreds charts. We will look at the progression of manipulatives in the scope and sequence of the district and spend time using manipulatives to teach standards in kindergarten and first grades.
