Research-Based Instructional Strategies (RBIS) K-5 Math Training - Tyler ISD

Participants will learn the essential best practices grounded in research for mathematics instruction regardless of instructional materials: Balance Conceptual and Procedural, Depth of Key Concepts, Coherence of Key Concepts, and Productive Struggle. In this session, participants will dive into research-based practices essential for K-12 math classrooms and uncover prevalent misconceptions alongside topics demanding conceptual shifts in instructional approaches.
