G/T 6-Hour Update: Overlooked and Underserved: The G/T Emergent Bilingual

Identifying and serving G/T emergent bilingual students is often overlooked in many districts. This TEA-developed workshop will engage educators in current research regarding the characteristics of gifted English learners as well as empower educators to effectively analyze curriculum and instruction and apply this new learning to the development of educational resources for these learners. This workshop is offered at no charge to all Region 7 ESC districts and charters. This workshop satisfies the state requirement for the annual G/T 6-hour update.
