This 2-day training includes an orientation to the role of paraprofessionals, scientifically-based strategies in reading, writing, and math instruction, and other important topics. Participants will also be administered a locally-developed assessment to demonstrate knowledge of, and the ability to assist in, instructional strategies for reading, writing, and mathematics, which meets the requirements to ensure that all paraprofessionals meet Title I, Part A Paraprofessional Requirements per ESSA Federal law.
