In this session we will walk through the TEA created document titled, "Guidance for the Comprehensive Evaluation of a Specific Learning Disability". Participants will explore the key components of the guidance document, including FIIE evaluation procedures, principles for a comprehensive SLD evaluation, key elements of Texas SLD identification, and documenting the identification of SLD in the FIIE report. Q&A time will be given at the end of the session to allow participants the opportunity to ask follow-up and clarifying questions.
Attendees will be able to participate in this webinar in their district via the Zoom link provided in the registration confirmation email and professional development records.
