Building Leadership Excellence: Aligning Vision, Strategy, and Practice
Day 1 of the First-Time Administrator Academy offers a comprehensive exploration of key leadership components designed to enhance strategic impact and effectiveness. Participants will reflect on their leadership style to maximize their influence on school culture, instructional practices, and student outcomes. The session provides an in-depth exploration of the T-PESS Rubric, focusing on performance standards and indicators that define successful school leadership. Through Crosswalk Document analysis, participants will examine the alignment between T-PESS Domains, selected literature, and ESF Levers, enabling strategic planning for leadership growth. Attendees will learn how to collect and present evidence of proficiency in T-PESS Domains and ESF Levers, participate in guided goal-setting sessions, and engage in Leadership in Action scenarios to practice decision-making and strategic problem-solving. Opportunities for collaboration through discussions and group activities will foster a supportive network of peers and mentors, empowering participants to lead with vision, strategy, and confidence.
