Enhancing Read-Alouds: Strategies for Adapting Books and Materials for Students of All Abilities 25-26

In this engaging and interactive workshop, participants will explore ways to adapt read-aloud sessions to accommodate the needs of all learners, including students with visual, physical, behavioral, and intellectual disabilities, as well as Emergent Bilinguals. Through hands-on activities and collaborative discussions, educators will learn to incorporate tools such as visual, physical, and communication supports and use multi-sensory learning techniques to improve comprehension, engagement, and participation in classroom read-alouds.
