25-26 Advanced Training Year: Take Flight Therapist Training

Year two of the Advanced Training for the Dyslexia Therapist Training program will use Take Flight: A Comprehensive Intervention for Students with Dyslexia developed by Texas Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas. This training is designed for teachers of students with dyslexia using proven intervention techniques that align with the Dyslexia Handbook (2024). Training will focus on the following topics: Multisensory remedial techniques, research in dyslexia, educational identification of dyslexia, conducting parent meetings teacher training, and ethical guidelines for professionals. Participants for advanced training must have successfully completed the Introductory Year.
To register you will need to contact Wendy Marshall by email at wmarshall@esc7.net and attach a purchase order to the email 2 weeks prior to workshop date or you will be dropped from the course.
