Day 2 of the First-Time Administrator Academy focuses on mastering the practical aspects of school leadership that drive student success and organizational effectiveness. Participants will engage in intentional scheduling, learning how to design schedules that maximize instructional time and support campus initiatives. The session will explore Change Facilitation, providing tools and strategies for leading successful transitions and guiding staff through change with a focus on sustaining long-term improvements. A Focused Plan for regularly monitoring the implementation of campus initiatives will be developed, ensuring continuous progress and alignment with school goals. Opportunities for collaboration through discussions and group activities will foster a supportive network of peers and mentors, empowering participants to lead with vision, strategy, and confidence.
Participants will gain a deeper understanding of ESF Lever 5 (MTSS) and TPESS Indicator 3.3, with a specific focus on supporting students with learning gaps.
