Safety Day 2025: Students

Join us for Safety Day 2025, a day geared toward individuals with autism and significant cognitive disabilities! Safety Day will have four tracks: Elementary Beginner (Grades K-5) Beginner Track, Elementary (Grades K-5) Advanced Track, Secondary (Grades 6-12) Beginner Track, and a Secondary (Grades 6-12) Advanced Track. Each track has customized content covering a range of safety topics (household, road, fire, water, drug, and internet) as well as the opportunity to interact and learn from first responders and medical professionals.
Participants must bring their lunch.

There are a limited number of spots available. Teachers may register their students by contacting the workshop contact, Amie Handorf, and completing the student registration packet. Teachers and staff members accompanying a student group will be registered for the track that they will be chaperoning.
