Introduction to Behavior 25-26

Understanding how behavior is learned and the purpose it serves is critical for educators to prevent and change student behavior. This workshop provides participants with a brief introduction to foundational tools necessary to understand behavior functionally and respond to behavior appropriately. Concepts covered include antecedents, behavior & consequences (ABCs), as well as the functions of behavior and functional-based interventions. This workshop is ideal for new paraprofessionals and teachers.
Attendees will be able to participate in this webinar in their district via the Zoom link provided in the registration confirmation email and professional development records.
The workshop is primarily for Malakoff ISD.
