Leveling Up Writing Instruction with AI

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

Artificial intelligence tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini are reshaping how we approach writing in the classroom. This hands-on workshop will help you build AI literacy and explore practical, ethical strategies for integrating AI into writing instruction.

Come to learn how generative AI works, how to craft better prompts, and how to guide students in using AI to brainstorm ideas, organize their thinking, and reflect on their work—without replacing their voice or critical thinking. We’ll address concerns around plagiarism, set clear expectations for classroom use, and share ready-to-use lesson ideas and policies.

Participants will leave with the confidence and tools to make AI a meaningful part of the writing process.
