TIL - Data-Driven Instruction Refresh - Waskom ISD

In this one-day session, district and campus leaders will revisit key takeaways from last summer’s original DDI (Data-Driven Instruction) training. The session will focus on helping teachers make the most of their instructional time - spending less time on content students have already mastered, and more time addressing student learning needs.

Leaders will work to answer two essential questions:

How do I know my students are learning?

If they aren’t, what actions should I take?

Participants will engage with the data protocol developed by Paul Bambrick-Santoyo, which has been implemented district-wide over the past school year. New attendees will receive copies of Driven by Data 2.0 and Leverage Leadership 2.0 to support continued implementation of DDI practices in their schools.
