The Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) isn’t a program. The state of Texas has identified MTSS as a comprehensive, school-wide, three-tiered framework used to provide additional support to struggling students. This workshop is an overview of the key components necessary for effective implementation such as universal screening, data-driven decision-making, progress monitoring, and team-based problem-solving. The goal of MTSS is to identify and address problems early, rather than waiting for a student to fail. This workshop is for Henderson ISD Northside Int. staff.
