Building Thinking Classrooms for Whitehouse ISD

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

Join us for an in-person book study based on Mathematics Tasks for the Thinking Classroom by Peter Liljedahl and Maegan Giroux. We’ll dive into powerful practices that nurture deep thinking, collaborative problem solving, and student agency in K–5 math classrooms. Participants will engage in discussions, explore classroom-ready tasks, and reflect on practical ways to apply the book’s ideas in their own settings. Books will be available for many participants, with priority given to early registrants. We’re excited to offer books to the first 30 who sign up across both sessions, while supplies last. This workshop is for Whitehouse ISD only. If you are interested in this session for your campus or district please contact (hkleinmann@esc7.net) Heather Kleinmann.
