The Universal Screener: Identifying Students for MTSS 24-25

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

This workshop will explore the significance of the Universal Screener within the three-tiered framework of the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS). The universal screener is the initial tool used to identify students' academic and behavioral needs early on. Our goal is to determine which students are at risk and which are not, enabling clear, binary decisions that support timely interventions and early action. This approach is grounded in decades of research highlighting the critical role of early screening and early intervention in supporting students at risk for learning difficulties, and behavioral, or social-emotional challenges. This workshop is for Frankston ISD staff.
