Hands-On, Minds-On: Making Math Concrete in Grades 3–5 in Lufkin ISD

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

In this interactive half-day session, participants will explore how hands-on learning can deepen mathematical understanding for students in grades 3-5. Through the purposeful use of math manipulatives, we will experience strategies that bridge concrete and abstract thinking. Participants will engage with a variety of tools and resources designed to support mathematics instruction and leave equipped with practical ideas to bring math to life in their classrooms. This session is hosted by Lufkin ISD but is open to all Region 7 Districts in the Academic Content Coop (ACC).
