Join us for a high-energy 6-hour Gifted/Talented update designed to celebrate the upcoming 250th birthday of the United States. This session will equip you with innovative, engaging strategies to bring the Semiquincentennial into your classroom. This session blends best-practice G/T instructional strategies, primary sources, and integrated Social Studies TEKS connections to help teachers design meaningful learning experiences for advanced learners. Participants will explore inquiry-based approaches, critical and creative thinking routines, discussion and writing strategies, and student-led learning structures—all framed through the lens of America’s 250-year story.
