26-27 Take Flight Introductory Training

This workshop is a two-year Therapist Training program for certified Texas public school teachers in association with The Luke Waites Center for Dyslexia and Learning Disorders of Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. This comprehensive training is designed for teachers of students with dyslexia using proven intervention techniques that align with the Texas Dyslexia Handbook. Successful completion will allow individuals to sit for the Alliance Exam for CALT certification.

Due to the nature of the training, all purchase orders/payments must be received by May 15, 2026.* This workshop must have a minimum of 5 paid participants in order for the workshop to take place. Attendance on each day of the training is required in order for participants to receive the mandatory number of class hours.

The training will be held from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm at the Van iHut Conference Room located at 250 N Pecan Street, Van, TX 75790.

*All registered participants and administrators must attend a Take Flight Orientation on May 14th.
