Head Start New Teacher and Teaching Assistant Training Day 1

This session will address the importance of classroom management and explore how the ELOF and Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines align with the state-adopted curriculum. Teachers and teaching assistants will be provided with practical tools and strategies to implement in the classroom. Key topics will include Active Supervision, Head Start deadlines, and assessments. Participants will gain knowledge in classroom management, curriculum alignment, assessment practices, and active supervision. This session will also include completion of the required annual Bloodborne Pathogen and Child Abuse training. This workshop is intended for new Head Start teachers and teaching assistants only.
