School Board Orientation to the Texas Education Code Online Course

In your first year, you must complete a basic “Orientation to the Education Code” training course with an emphasis on governing Texas school districts, and a focus on parental rights and health education. The purpose is to prepare newly appointed school board members to work as a corporate body to govern and oversee the management of their school district so that the academic performance of all students will improve.
