Growing Science Thinkers: Planting the Seeds of Matter

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

2027-2028 Elementary Science Cohort: Cultivating Curiosity in the Elementary Classroom
Great science classrooms don’t just cover standards - they grow curious thinkers who observe, question, investigate, and explain the world around them.

In this four-part, hands-on professional learning series, elementary educators will dig into the Texas science standards while exploring practical strategies that help students develop strong scientific thinking. Each session focuses on one of the four science strands through engaging investigations, collaborative discussions, and classroom-ready lessons. Participants will experience the kinds of learning we want for students: asking questions about real phenomena, collecting and analyzing data, building explanations, and communicating ideas. Join us as we plant ideas, nurture curiosity, and help students become confident young scientists.
