Your Leadership Journey: Deciding If Instructional Leadership Is Right for You - Session 3 (Virtual)

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

Preparing students for success after graduation requires intentional leadership and a clear vision for college and career readiness. This collaborative panel features a high school principal and a CTE director who will share how their roles intersect to create pathways that prepare students for both higher education and the workforce.
Framed through the Texas Principal Evaluation and Support System (T-PESS) and the Texas Principal Standards, the discussion will highlight how leaders cultivate strong partnerships, align curriculum and instruction with industry expectations, and design systems that support equitable opportunities for all students. Panelists will share practical strategies, lessons learned, and the leadership practices that drive meaningful results for students’ postsecondary success.
Aspiring administrators will gain insight into how to:
Apply the Principal Standards to strengthen leadership capacity in
college and career readiness initiatives.
Leverage T-PESS to reflect on and refine leadership practices.
Collaborate across roles to build programs that prepare students for life beyond high school.
Navigate the balance between instructional leadership, operational demands, and visionary planning.
