This workshop equips educators with clear, practical strategies to help students excel on the Extended Constructed Response (ECR) portion of the Texas state assessment or on the AP writing test. Participants will learn how to teach students to read prompts effectively, select strong text evidence, develop coherent explanations, and structure responses with clarity and purpose. Educators will leave with turnkey mini-lessons, scaffolds, and exemplars that build student confidence and improve performance on essay responses across genres.
