Making Inferences: A Powerful Evidence-Based Approach

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

This workshop focuses on improving students’ ability to draw logical inferences and support them with clear, relevant text evidence—an essential skill that remains consistently weak across the last three years of data. Participants will break down the inference process into explicit, teachable steps that build student confidence and accuracy. The session includes student tools that support high-quality inference making, strengthening STAAR-aligned responses by building clear, justified inference statements and helping students build the deep comprehension needed for success on this foundational TEKS.
