G/T 6-Hour Update: Creative Thinking and Problem Solving

While students often search for the single “right” answer, some of the most exciting learning happens when they venture beyond certainty to stretch their thinking and explore multiple possibilities. This session invites exploration of creative problem-solving through divergent thinking, creating space for curiosity, imagination, and innovative approaches.

Participants will engage in hands-on strategies that spark original ideas, challenge assumptions, and strengthen flexible thinking - skills gifted learners need to thrive in the classroom and beyond.


This workshop is offered at no charge to all Region 7 ESC districts and charters. This workshop satisfies the state requirement for the annual G/T 6-hour update.
