I "Rek-en" -Rek Manipulatives are Important in Early Mathematics (K-2)

Get ready to play with numbers! In this session, early elementary teachers will explore how rekenreks and other hands-on models make math visible, engaging, and fun for young learners. Through interactive activities, participants will see how these tools build strong number sense, support addition and subtraction strategies, and help students explain their thinking.
