Educational Federal Accounts (EFAs) are changing the funding landscape in Texas and creating new responsibilities for school administrators. This session provides a concise overview of how EFAs intersect with federal proportionate share requirements and what Texas LEAs must consider for compliance, budgeting, and service planning.
Administrators will review key obligations related to child find, consultation, and use of proportionate share funds, along with common compliance risks. Participants will leave with practical guidance and key questions to support informed, defensible decision-making at the campus and district level.
