Workshop Registration Details

Are you looking for a stronger game plan to support the behavior of your 3-, 4-, and 5-year-old students? This session focuses on early childhood PBIS practices that promote positive behavior and social–emotional development while supporting children with big feelings. Participants will explore proactive strategies, such as explicitly teaching expectations, using visual supports, and prompting and cueing, to help young children succeed in daily routines. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the function of behavior, responding to big feelings in developmentally appropriate ways, and designing supportive, predictable environments that prevent challenging behaviors before they occur. Attendees will gain practical PBIS-aligned tools, including positive reinforcement and consistent feedback, to encourage appropriate behavior and build lasting skills in young learners.
