Workshop Registration Details

Attention-seeking behaviors can disrupt learning environments and challenge educators, yet they often stem from unmet social and emotional needs. This interactive workshop is designed for teachers, school counselors, administrators, and support staff who want to address these behaviors effectively using evidence-based practices. Participants will explore the root causes of attention-seeking behaviors, gain insight into why traditional responses may exacerbate the issue, and learn practical strategies to replace disruptive behaviors with positive alternatives. Through real-world examples, attendees will build a toolkit of interventions grounded in behavioral science and best practices. Participants are highly recommended to attend Behavior 101 as a prerequisite for this workshop or be knowledgeable about foundational behavioral principles such as ABCs, reinforcement, extinction, etc.
